Here’s another chiropractic video of someone getting adjusted in Los Angeles, California. Young female lies facedown on a chiropractor’s table, gets her legs checked (look at those high heels) and gets her low back and then rest of her spine adjusted.
The chiropractor uses a table called a drop table which is often referred to as either drop technique or Thompson technique. While the table makes some noise it’s a very gentle technique that is designed to allow energy to move through the person being adjusted so that they don’t take on the force of adjustment sometimes resulting in soreness afterwards.
There are many different ways to do leg length checks and in this video the chiropractor does something called a functional leg assessment and he also has the patient turning her head to the left and to the right observing for rotation or misalignment in the upper cervical spine, which would affect the length of the patient’s legs when turning the head.
